D-Link Middle East, the end-to-end computer network solutions provider for consumers and businesses, today introduced a new mobile router that can be quickly and easily installed almost anywhere, even in places where conventional network access is unavailable.
The D-Link® HSDPA 3.5G Mobile Communicator Router (DIR-455) allows users to access worldwide mobile broadband networks on the fly by simply inserting a UMTS/HSDPA SIM card. This distinct enterprise solution combines 3G failover with a traditional Ethernet router, and its embedded 3G module has overcome the limitations and reliability issues found with an external 3G-adapter solution. It supports SMS features in both modem and router mode, and uniquely provides voice over circuit switch capability that guarantees superior voice quality.
“We targeted this product to the SMB segment as a one-stop solution that incorporates WAN failover, up to five concurrent IPSec VPN tunnels, and WPA/WPA2 security. It features an easy-to-use WAN failover from Ethernet to 3G option that allows it to be installed just about anywhere,” said Harrison Albert, Regional Sales Director at D-Link Middle East. “It’s great for situations where an impromptu wireless network or Hot Spot must be set up, or wherever conventional network access is unavailable,” Harrison concludes.
When accessing the 3.5G Internet connection, users still have the ability to answer incoming mobile calls and respond to SMS messages. The DIR-455 comes equipped with an RJ-11 jack that allows users to attach a standard analog phone for high-quality mobile calls over a GSM network.
The DIR-455 features advanced network security with support for WPA/WPA2 encryption to keep the wireless network safe. It utilizes dual-active firewalls (SPI and NAT) to prevent potential attacks across the Internet and supports up to five consecutive IPSec VPN tunnels.

Key Features and Benefits
•	Complete 4-port wireless router and firewall with integral 3.5G WAN connectivity provides Internet sharing almost anywhere.
•	Provides high-speed wired or 802.11b/g wireless connectivity in areas without conventional Ethernet or wireless WAN access.
•	Compatible with a wide-range of HSDPA mobile service networks. While accessing your 3.5G Internet connection, you will still have the ability to answer incoming mobile calls and respond to SMS messages.
•	Supports WAN failover for persistent connections.
•	Supports RJ-11 analog phone for high-quality mobile calls over GSM.

Sharjah- 17 October 2009
In a marketing and promotional move aiming to boost the emirate of Sharjah’s position on the international tourism map and to confirm the success it has already achieved, the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) has announced its first participation in the International Tourism Bourse Asia (ITB Asia), which will be held at the Sontec Conference and Exhibition Center in Singapore from 21 to 23 October 2009.

The Authority’s decision to participate in the exhibition forms part of its strategy to promote Sharjah’s tourism attractions and investment opportunities to new markets.

Speaking of the event, Director General of the SCTDA H.E. Mohamed A. Al Noman said: “The emirate of Sharjah is increasingly being recognized as a favoured destination on the world tourism map, and the SCTDA is working according to a clear strategy to develop the emirate’s tourism sector further by targeting international markets and organizing events and activities that promote the emirate, such as tourism fairs, trade fairs and promotional tours. Asia is definitely an important market for Sharjah’s tourism sector, and the emirate is already a destination of choice for Asian tourists, who accounted for 21 percent of the emirate’s total visitors in the first three quarters of this year.”

“The SCTDA is committed to continuing to promote Sharjah’s uniquely diverse tourism offering to people all over the world, and to reaffirming its competitiveness as a unique tourist destination. Our aim is also to promote the upcoming activities and initiatives that we have planned for the remainder of this year, including the Sharjah Grand Prix 2009 – the final round of the F1 Powerboat World Championships – which attracts a large number of spectators from around the world every year,” Al Noman added.

Sharjah’s delegation to ITB Asia includes representatives from various institutions within the emirate, including the SCTDA, Radisson Blu Resort, Tulip Inn Hotel and Orient Tours.

Sharjah’s stand features a balanced mix of traditional and modern designs specifically chosen to reflect the emirate’s new brand, and will showcase Sharjah’s attractions. The SCTDA will provide visitors to the stand with English-language information on the emirate and its tourism offering.

ITB Asia is one the biggest tourism-specific exhibitions in the tourism industry, gathering a host of tourism experts. Last year’s edition saw the participation of a large number of participants, and had attracted a vast number of visitors with its numerous activities.

ITB Asia is a three-day B2B trade show and convention that takes place in Singapore, and offers participants the perfect platform to enter the Asian tourism market. During the exhibition, international exhibitors from all sectors related to the tourism and travel value chain come together with Asia Pacific’s leading companies and emerging small and medium-sized enterprises to meet with top buyers from the MICE, Leisure and Corporate Travel markets.

Dubai, 08 October 2009, Tanmiyat revealed today the details of a new payment plan for all of its developments in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) including flagship project “Living Legends”.

The new plan for Tanmiyat’s customers was drafted in consultation with several investors and sales agents to ensure the viability of the schedule. All payment timelines are benchmarked against construction milestones as per the latest RERA law. In developments like Living Legends, where villa construction is ongoing and will be completed at the end of 2010, investor payments are expected to be completed over the course of the coming year.

The final calendar of payment reflects the realities of today’s real estate market and allows both the developer and its clients the freedom to pursue a variety of solutions.

Dr. Wan Hasni, Advisor in Charge of Tanmiyat, said: “In May 2009 we advised all of our customers to stop making their payments as we were going to review the schedule of payments against the construction progress. Last month, we began communicating the revised, RERA-approved payment plans to our customers.”
“Our newly enhanced customer relations department caters to our customer’s requests and has been offering them guided tours of our construction sites. We’ve received wonderful feedback and we have many more satisfied customers willing to go forward with our new payment plan,” he continued.

Several investors have welcomed both the new plan and the added degree of transparency Tanmiyat has begun to introduce to the process.

“In the past, there wasn’t always clear communication to investors, but with the new management on board there has been a marked improvement,” said Shabir Suleman, owner of 70 properties in the Living Legends development. “I’ve been able to tour the site to view the status of construction, and I’ve seen firsthand the advanced state of the development.”

“I was one of several investors who were asked to review the new payment plan prior to its implementation, and I, personally, am quite comfortable with the new timelines that have been put in place,” continued Suleman.
