United Arab Emirates, 28 April 2009: Roadster diner’s long awaited arrival in the UAE has been complemented with the opening of its second store – Jumeirah Beach Road.

The new Jumeirah Beach Road location is Roadster diner’s second in the country after Dubai Mall, located near The One®, facing Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa.

Roadster diner is a one-of-a-kind place that showcases the spirit of the great diner experience, complete with private dining booths, pedestal stools and memorabilia on the walls.

Fans of the brand say its popularity rests in the diner’s relaxed atmosphere and menu, which ranges from juicy steaks to mega-burgers, and fries to homemade desserts.

Founded in 1998 in Beirut, Roadster diner has emerged as Lebanon’s premier casual dining chain. Roadster diner serves over 130,000 guests monthly and now operates ten outlets in Lebanon with over 650 employees. The menu offering includes appetisers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, platters desserts and much more with an authentic dining experience.

Roadster diner is brought to the UAE by Cravia, which also owns and operates other favourite brands, Cinnabon, Seattle’s Best Coffee and Zaatar w Zeit.

Cravia has also announced plans for a third store at the walk in Jumeirah Beach Residence, to open this summer.

As Cravia’s largest outlet in the UAE, Roadster diner Jumeirah Beach Road can seat up to 200 guests in its 550 sqm premises. The new store is open from 10am till midnight and there are plans for delivery service to be implemented in the near future.

Cravia CEO Walid Hajj, says that the speed with which Roadster diner is being implemented throughout the UAE is testament to the brand’s popularity.

“Roadster diner was already one of the most popular dining experiences in its home country of Lebanon and people from there have been waiting a long time for the brand to make its way here.”
“Our unique character, guaranteed cleanliness, impeccable quality and great service has been repaid hundredfold by our customers’ loyalty,” says Hajj. “It is their discerning taste in both food and atmosphere that has put Roadster diner on the map, so to speak.”

“Since there can never be too much of a good thing, we can guarantee that the region will be seeing more of us in the coming year… Stay tuned.”

Samer Chehlaoui, Managing Partner of Roadster diner, agrees that the partnership between Cravia and Roadster diner is an excellent opportunity for the popular eatery to capitalize on Cravia’s strong reputation and expand its presence abroad.

“We are keen to accelerate our business expansion and are delighted to have found a partner who recognizes our business philosophy,” Chehlaoui added.
