MFNCA organises workshop on human resources to support Sheikh Khalifa Excellence programme

Dubai, UAE; October 7,2009: The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MSFNCA) organised a workshop on human resources as part of its strategy to support the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Programme. The workshop focused on the various methodologies followed by the Ministry and its human resources-related objectives.

The workshop was held at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi and was part of a series of such initiatives launched by the Ministry to enhance the performance of human resources.

Sami Bin Adai, Executive Director for Institutional Affairs and Back-Up, inaugurated the workshop that was attended by departmental heads and employees.

Tariq Lootah, Director General of the Ministry, praised the initiatives launched by the Institutional Affairs and Back-up Sector at the Ministry. He that these are in line with the overall strategy of introducing global best practices at government departments, and further strengthening the efficiency and productivity of employees in line with the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Programme.

Lootah said that the Ministry is committed to ensure that all employees are aware of the standards outlined by the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence programme, and thus aligned to its goals

He highlighted the need to develop internal practices through such workshops to strengthen the human resource base and boost efficiency.
